Webcam Class Registration Urine Specimen

IMPORTANT: The Urine Specimen Collector for DOT Drug Testing Proficiency Webcam Class is the live, instructor-led proficiency demonstration portion of the urine specimen collector qualification training process.

During this webcam class, a Certified Training Solutions Master Instructor will guide the collector student through completion of the five required mock collections under 49 CFR Part 40 for DOT urine specimen collector qualification. The required mock collections include two uneventful collections, one insufficient quantity/shy bladder scenario, one temperature out-of-range scenario, and one scenario in which the employee refuses to sign the Custody and Control Form and initial the specimen bottle seals.

Students must successfully complete the online Urine Specimen Collector Procedures Training Course before attending the webcam proficiency class. Students are expected to arrive fully prepared, with a strong working knowledge of DOT urine collection procedures, Custody and Control Form completion, problem collection requirements, and collector responsibilities under 49 CFR Part 40.

This class is not a procedures training course. It is a proficiency demonstration class. Students must be prepared to move efficiently through the required mock collections and complete each mock collection error-free, as required by DOT regulations.

Students must arrive on time and must have all required supplies, documents, forms, and printed paperwork ready before class begins, as outlined in the webcam instruction document provided in advance. Students must have at least six current Federal Drug Testing Custody and Control Forms and at least six DOT split specimen collection kits available for use during the training.

Students should carefully study the proficiency checklist provided before class to ensure they are prepared to move smoothly, accurately, and confidently through each mock collection without errors.

Failure to arrive prepared, on time, or with the required materials will result in the student being unable to complete the proficiency demonstration during the scheduled class. The full fee must be paid again to reschedule and fees paid are not refundable. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure you arrive prepared and on time.
