The State of Tennessee requires that employers participating in the BWC’s Drug Free Workplace Program to provide the following training to supervisors and employees:

Supervisors: 2-hours of supervisory training + one hour of employee training (after all, supervisors are employees, too!). Therefore, supervisors must have a total of 3 hours of training.

Employees: One hour of training within sixty (60) calendar days of an employer’s implementation of a Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace Program or within sixty (60) calendar days of the employee’s date of hire.
